The product candidate is currently in the Phase III clinical trials. The company has also developed Heplisav, a hepatitis B vaccine which is in the Phase III clinical trial. Dynavax Technologies derives revenues under its collaboration agreements with AstraZeneca, research and development and contract manufacturing services, license fees, royalty payments, and sales of Supervax formulated bulk vaccine to a third party distributor. Dynavax Technologies’ major contributor to sales growth out to 2010 will be royalties earned in connection with the product sales of Heplisav in alliance with the company’s co-developer, Merck. Heplisav is expected to be launched in the year 2009. Revenues from this stream are expected to contribute the absolute sales growth of +$20 million.
